General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces: operational information regarding the Russian invasion (as of 06:00 11.04.2022)

Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on April 11, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

The forty-seventh day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people against the Russian military invasion has begun.

A full-scale armed aggression by the Russian Federation against our state is ongoing.

The enemy continues to create an offensive grouping of troops for operations on the Slobozhansky direction. It is likely that in the coming days, the occupiers will attempt to resume their advance.

In addition, the adversary continues to prepare and dispatch personnel, weapons, and equipment for participation in combat actions on Ukrainian territory.

Preparations of weapons and military equipment are being carried out at the permanent location of the 60th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade (Monastyrysche) of the 5th Combined Arms Army of the Eastern Military District. It is likely that the mentioned weaponry will be moved to temporarily occupied territory in the Donetsk region. Also, for replenishing personnel losses among units of the battalion tactical group from the 36th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade (Borzia, Zabaykal'sky Krai) of the 29th Combined Arms Army of the Eastern Military District, recruitment of servicemen from that brigade is being carried out. The enemy is particularly experiencing difficulties in staffing driver and mechanic-driver positions. Recruitment of selected personnel from permanent locations is planned for the second half of April this year.

It cannot be ruled out that the armed forces of the Russian Federation will carry out provocative actions on the territory of the Transnistrian region of the Republic of Moldova with the aim of accusing Ukraine of aggression against a neighboring state.

The enemy is likely to continue strikes against transportation infrastructure objects in Ukraine, aiming to destroy or disable them in order to disrupt supplies to combat zones.

Certain subunits of the armed forces of the Republic of Belarus are continuing to carry out tasks to strengthen security at the Ukrainian-Belarusian border in Brest and Homel regions.

On the Slobozhansky direction, separate units from the 6th Combined Arms Army and coastal forces of the Northern Fleet continue partial blockading of the city of Kharkiv, artillery shelling of certain areas of the city is ongoing.

On the Iziumsky direction air reconnaissance of the area to detect positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is continuing. For this purpose, the enemy uses UAVs «Orlan-10».

With forces up to two battalion tactical groups, the adversary attempted to conduct an offensive in the directions of the populated areas of Dolgenkoye and Dmitrivka, without success, and withdrew to previously occupied positions.

On the Donetsk direction, the enemy continues to concentrate its main efforts on taking control of populated areas such as Popasna, Rubizhne, Novobakhmutivka, and Nyzhnje, as well as establishing full control over the city of Mariupol.

The adversary attempted to conduct storming actions in the area of Zolote, without success.

In the city of Mariupol, under artillery and air support, occupiers continue storming actions in areas around the «Azovstal» plant and the seaport.

With forces of separate subunits, the enemy carried out artillery shelling of our troops' positions in the areas of populated places Vysokopillya, Trudolyubivka, and Mariyanskoye.

On the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, Ukrainian defenders repelled four attacks by the enemy over the past day, destroying five tanks, eight units of armored vehicles, six units of automotive equipment, and eight artillery systems of the adversary.

We believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine! Together we will win! Glory to Ukraine!
