Key topics of discussion, in which MPs from Mykolaiv Oleksandr Haydu and Oleksandr Pasiichnyi, who heads the oblast football association, as well as his first deputy Oleksandr Balakyn participated, included the work of the UAF humanitarian hub that is already functioning in Mykolaiv Oblast, support for medical personnel and military defending the region, assistance in evacuating families with children (especially from temporarily occupied neighboring Kherson Oblast) and their accommodation in safe and comfortable conditions. In particular, the first group of young footballers will depart to Romania tomorrow, on April 7.

“The Coordination Center of the UAF will certainly facilitate finding opportunities for placing children in the safest western regions of Ukraine today, with the possibility of further departure abroad to football academies of our European partners. This applies particularly to young footballers from one of the largest football schools in Ukraine — SDOShOR 'Mykolaiv', which has nearly 800 students.”— Andriy Pavelko said.
