Note for your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 12.00 on April 3, 2022, regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

The heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people against the Russian military invasion is now in its thirty-ninth day.

The enemy continues to carry out systematic rocket and air strikes on civilian infrastructure objects and fuel storage facilities. There is a noticeable conduct of measures to prepare personnel strength and equipment aimed at forming additional units for participation in combat operations on the territory of Ukraine.

Main efforts of the enemy are focused on preparing for the resumption of offensive actions, establishing control over territories in Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

On the Volyn direction, there have been no changes to the situation.

On the Polesie direction, the enemy has completed the withdrawal of separate units of the eastern military district to the territory of Belarus with further redeployment of these units to the territory of the Russian Federation.

In the liberated territories of Kyiv region, in the areas of populated places Velika Dymyryka, Skibin and Hoholiv, units of defensive forces are conducting clearance operations to remove mines and explosive devices installed by Russian occupiers.

On the Northern direction, the enemy has completed the withdrawal of separate units of the central military district to the territory of the Russian Federation.

In the area of Sumy city, the retreat of occupying forces continues. The enemy ensures cover and logistical support for certain units being withdrawn to the territory of the Russian Federation.

In liberated territories, small groups of military personnel from the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation remain hidden or attempt to cross the state border of Ukraine independently.

On the Slobozhansky direction, occupiers continue to block the city of Kharkiv. Main efforts of the enemy are focused on continuing offensive actions towards the city of Izium. In order to identify weak spots in our defensive positions, the enemy continues reconnaissance activities.

On the Donetsk direction, the enemy continues shelling populated areas and positions of our troops and conducting assault operations on most fronts. Unsuccessful, it is regrouping.

On the South Buzhsky direction, fighting for the populated area of Oleksandrivka continues.
