General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces: operational information regarding the Russian invasion (as of 12:00 13.03.2022)

Note to your attention — operational information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 12.00 on March 13, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion into our country.

The heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people against the Russian military invasion is now in its eighteenth day.

The enemy continues offensive operations against Ukraine on the Volyn, Northern, Slobozhansky, Donetsk, Tavriysky and Southern Buzhsky fronts. Occupants are conducting measures to restore combat readiness and redeploy troops, as well as prepare for further offensive actions.

Russian military criminals carry out rocket-bombardment strikes and artillery shelling of civilian infrastructure objects in Ukrainian cities such as Chernihiv, Sumy, Mykolaiv, Mariupol, Avdiivka, Volnovakha, and outskirts of large populated areas across the entire territory of Ukraine, as well as against units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

During redeployment of enemy troops, additional units are being prepared for combat actions on Ukrainian territory. Thus, according to available information, during March 9-10, 800 military personnel from the 102nd Military Base (Gyumri, Armenia) of the Southern Military District were transferred to Russia for further deployment in the zone of hostilities. About 1500 people from the 40th Separate Marine Brigade (Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky) of the Pacific Fleet are being transported by rail to Belarus. In the 820th Main Center for Missile Attack Warning (Solnechnogorsk), personnel selection is underway for participation in combat actions against Ukraine.

To urgently replenish losses of occupation forces, part of the "peacekeeping" contingent from Nagorno-Karabakh (Azerbaijan) is being redeployed to Ukraine. Also, according to available information, a large number of mercenaries are being recruited from other countries (Syria, Serbia).

On the Volyn Front, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions. Military leadership of Belarus continues measures to strengthen border security with Ukraine. There is still a possibility of direct involvement of Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus in military operations against Ukraine on the side of occupiers on the Volyn Front.

The enemy conducts aerial reconnaissance of military and civilian objects within Ukrainian territory.

On the Polissya Front, the enemy with a designated force holds positions in the vicinity of populated areas such as Polesye, Ivanivka, Lyubychivka, Kopiliv, Motyjnyi, Buzova, Horodychchyne, Irpin, Syniehiv, Kazarynchyky and Suchodolya. Currently, no active offensive actions are being conducted. The enemy is attempting to establish a material-technical support system and restore combat equipment. In the territory of Belarus near Kulichyha village, 17 km from Ukraine's state border, an enemy base for repair and restoration of military equipment has been set up.

On the Northern Front, the enemy with separate units from the Central Military District holds positions around populated areas such as Lubotiv, Slavutych, Kovritka, Zolotonosha, Mena, Borynchyk, Kalita, Bogdanivka, Lukashy, Romny and Nedryhailov. No active offensive actions are being conducted; efforts are focused on improving the logistical support system for units.

On the Bakhmut-Borispol Front, the enemy is blocking route E95, continues redeployment of troops and replenishment of supplies, and conducts reconnaissance. The enemy has switched to defense and holds a network of checkpoints on key movement routes. It is likely that after redeployment and introduction of additional units, the enemy will resume offensive actions aimed at capturing the left-bank part of Kyiv.

On the Slobozhansky Front, with designated forces, the enemy holds positions in the vicinity of populated areas such as Severodonetsk, Svatove, Kupyansk, Velyka Pysarivka, Moskovsky Bobryk and Lebedin. The enemy continues to form additional units, consolidates on achieved lines, conducts redeployment of troops, restores combat readiness of units, replenishes ammunition and fuel-oil materials with the aim of blocking Kharkov and capturing the city of Izium. No active offensive actions are noted except in Izium where the enemy is attempting to capture a populated area.

On the Donetsk and Tavriysky Fronts, the enemy holds positions around populated areas such as Borova, Ternevka, Novokrasnyanka, Luganskoye, Gorlovka, Pantelymonivka, Novotroitskoe and Hulyaypole.

With support from army aviation, the enemy attempts to develop an offensive on the Volnovakha Front. Enemy troops captured populated areas such as Staromlynivka, Yevgenyivka, Pavlivka and Yegorivka but were stopped on unfavorable lines.

Occupants conduct fire impact on our troops' positions in the Severodonetsk area. With artillery support, they carried out assault actions and captured eastern outskirts of populated areas such as Rubizhne.

On the Southern Buzhsky Front, no active offensive actions were conducted by the enemy. Active aerial reconnaissance is being carried out. The enemy continues to advance towards Kryvyi Rih. During the day, occupiers continued advancing towards Arkhangelske and Novovorontsovka but were stopped.

On all fronts of the offensive, the enemy actively uses civilian infrastructure and peaceful population for cover.

We believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine!!! Together we will win!!! Glory to Ukraine!!!
