Today in Dublin at the Aviva Stadium , the Ukraine national team will meet Ireland's team in their first match of the 2022/2023 Nations League (kick-off is at 9:45 PM Kyiv time).

Ireland will become the 72nd opponent for Ukraine if we consider representatives from five confederations, and the 52nd European rival. However, one of the opponents no longer exists on the political map: Yugoslavia first changed its name to Serbia and Montenegro, and then split into these two parts.

After Ireland, there are still three potential rivals for Ukraine in Europe—Belgium, Gibraltar, and Liechtenstein.
