In the premier tournament, the blue-and-yellow team started in League B. Under Andriy Shevchenko's leadership, they managed to outperform Czechia and Slovakia and secured a spot in the higher division.
In the Nations League 2020/2021, our national team tried its hand alongside the strongest teams and even beat Spain on home turf. Unfortunately, the last round match Switzerland — Ukraine was canceled. According to UEFA's CDK decision, our team received a technical loss with a score of 0:3. Due to this result, blue-and-yellow ended up in the last place in their group and will participate in the third cycle in League B.
We remind you that Portugal and France won the first two cycles of the Nations League.
