Today, on December 10, the draw for the elite round of qualification for the UEFA Euro 2026 among under-19 teams took place, in which Ukraine's national team (players born no later than 2007) participated.

Dmitry Mykhaylichenko's team, which secured first place in their qualification round group, was placed in the first pot before the draw. As a result of the draw, Ukraine ended up in Group 5, where they will face teams from Romania, Kazakhstan, and Northern Ireland.

UEFA Euro 2026 (U-19). Elite round qualification

Group 1: Germany, Austria, Greece, Sweden. 

Group 2: England, Portugal, Poland, Serbia.

Group 3: Croatia, France, Norway, Switzerland.

Group 4: Czech Republic, Denmark, Belgium, Latvia.

Group 5: Ukraine, Romania, Kazakhstan, Northern Ireland.

Group 6: Italy, Turkey, Slovakia, Hungary.

Group 7: Spain, Netherlands, Finland, Slovenia.

Matches in the seven groups will take place from March 23 to 31, 2026. Winners of the elite round groups will join hosts Wales in the final stage, which will be held from June 28 to July 11.

The draw for the final tournament is scheduled for April 16, 2026.
