Head coach of the Ukraine national team, Serhiy Rebrov, has called up Polissya Zhityhorod's defensive midfielder, Vladyslav Velychnya, for the national team as they prepare for 2026 World Cup qualification matches against Iceland (October 10, Reykjavik) and Azerbaijan (October 13, Krakow).

Main coach of the Ukraine national team, Serhiy Rebrov, has called up defender Vladyslav Velentiy from Zhytomyr Polissya for matches in the 2026 World Cup qualification against Iceland (October 10, Reykjavik) and Azerbaijan (October 13, Krakow). This is the player's debut call-up to the national team.

The national team's training camp will begin on October 6 in Poland. On the 8th, blue-and-yellow will travel to Reykjavik where on the 9th there will be a traditional pre-match press conference with Serhiy Rebrov and one of his players (start at 20:30 Kyiv time) and training session (21:00 Kyiv time) at the Iceland vs Ukraine stadium, Leygardsveidur. Return to Poland is scheduled for October 11.
On October 12 in Krakow, there will be traditional pre-match events before the match between Ukraine and Azerbaijan. At 17:30 local time, a press conference with Serhiy Rebrov and one of his players will begin, followed by training at 18:00.
Communication with representatives of Azerbaijani media and training sessions for our opponents will start at 19:30 and 20:00 local time respectively.
