CS-2026 Qualifiers. Serhiy Rebrov announced the squad for matches against Iceland and Azerbaijan

The coaching staff of the Ukraine national team, led by Serhiy Rebrov, has announced the names of the football players who will prepare for World Cup 2026 qualification matches against Iceland (October 10, Reykjavik, 21:45 Kyiv time) and Azerbaijan (October 13, Krakow, 21:45 Kyiv time).

The coaching staff of the Ukraine national team, led by Serhiy Rebrov, has announced the names of football players who will prepare for World Cup 2026 qualification matches against Iceland (October 10, Reykjavik, 21:45 Kyiv time) and Azerbaijan (October 13, Krakow, 21:45 Kyiv time).

The main list includes 25 players, the reserve list — six.

Goalkeepers: Georgiy Bushchan ("Polesia" Zhytomyr), Anatoliy Trubin ("Benfica" Lisbon, Portugal), Dmytro Ryshnyak ("Shakhtar" Donetsk).

Defenders: Illia Zabarnyi ("Paris Saint-Germain" Paris, France), Oleksandr Svatok ("Austin", USA), Valeri Bondar, Mykhailo Matviyenko, Yurym Konoplyan (all — "Shakhtar" Donetsk), Oleksandr Timchyk ("Dynamo" Kyiv), Vitaliy Mykolenko ("Everton" Liverpool, England), Bohdan Mikhaylichenko ("Polesia" Zhytomyr).

The national team's gathering will begin on October 6 in Poland. On the 8th, blue-and-yellow will travel to Reykjavik, where on the 9th a traditional pre-match press conference with Serhiy Rebrov and one of his players (start — at 20:30 Kyiv time) and training session (21:00 Kyiv time) will take place at the Iceland vs. Ukraine stadium, "Laugardalsvöllur". Return to Poland is scheduled for October 11.

On October 12 in Krakow, traditional events before the match between Ukraine and Azerbaijan will take place. At 17:30 local time, a press conference with Serhiy Rebrov and one of his players will begin, followed by training for the Ukrainian national team at 18:00.

Communication with representatives of Azerbaijani media and training sessions of our opponents will start at 19:30 and 20:00 local time respectively.
