Today, the 69th ceremony for awarding the most prestigious individual prize in football, the «Golden Ball», took place at the Paris theater «Châtelet». The event was organized by UEFA and Groupe Amaury, owner of publications France Football and L’Équipe.

The trophy for the 2025 edition was won by the attacker of «Paris Saint-Germain» and the national team of France, who is an opponent of Ukraine's national team in the 2026 World Cup qualifier, Ousmane Dembélé. The forward won this award for the first time in his career.

We remind you that three Ukrainian football players have been awarded the «Golden Ball»: Oleh Blokhin (1975), Ihor Belanov (1986) and Andriy Shevchenko (2004).
