The head coach of the Ukraine national beach soccer team, Mykola Kostenko, outlined the tasks for the blue-and-yellow team at the EuroLeague Superfinal 2025 and spoke about their preparation for it.

"On Friday we traveled to Viareggio. We reached Italy by bus with an overnight stay in Budapest. Our first match is on September 9 against Switzerland, followed by a day of rest, then matches against Spain and Denmark. The opponents are very strong, but the decisive game will be the one against Switzerland, which can set the tone for the entire tournament."

This year's Superfinal has a slightly different format—the teams that finish in the top two of each group advance directly to the semifinals. We successfully completed the qualifying stage of EuroLeague 2025, so since the national team sets only maximum goals for itself, our goal is to fight for first place at these competitions,"—said Mykola Kostenko.

Recall that the tournament will take place from September 9 to 14 in Viareggio, Italy. Earlier, the Ukraine national beach soccer team announced its squad for the most important tournament of the season.
