Young football players from Dnipro completed a weekly training camp at the French national team base
20 young football players from Dnipro, who chose victory in the all-Ukrainian tournament "Cup of Regions-2025", held a weekly football camp at the legendary training base of the French national team Clairefontaine.

«Within the program, young athletes had the opportunity to train on high-quality fields — natural, hybrid, artificial, as well as in an indoor stadium. The training process was led by French coaches and aimed at developing tactical thinking and included various game exercises and methods.»

«Communication with coaches took place in English, which allowed participants not only to refine their football skills but also improve language practice.»— noted the head of the children's and youth football department at the UAF, Bohdan Hordynyuk.

Over the week, warm working relationships and quality communication developed between Ukrainian football players and French coaches, which continued even outside training sessions.

In addition to training, participants familiarized themselves with the infrastructure of Clairefontaine, visited the football museum, and made excursions, including to a castle where the French national team resides.

An important part of the program was its cultural component. Young football players visited the Paris City Hall, saw the Olympic flame in the Tuileries Garden, the Eiffel Tower, and also paid a visit to the French Football Federation, where they learned about the structure and principles of work of one of the most successful football unions in the world. Representatives of the FFF then personally visited the training base to greet the Ukrainian children and wish them further success.
