The men's national beach soccer team of Ukraine played their last match today at the fourth qualifying stage of the EuroLeague-2025 Super Final, which is taking place in Chisinau, Moldova.

Under the guidance of Mykola Kostenko, after victories over France (7:2) and Latvia (5:1), they have already secured their place in the EuroLeague-2025 Super Final. Today, they faced Italy's team for first place in Group B.

In the first period, the teams exchanged goals. The Italians opened the score on the fourth minute with a successful shot by Francesco Sk'jakki. Ukraine equalized five minutes later through Andriy Borosuk’s effort.

In the second 12-minute period, Oleksandr Korniychuk's own goal once again put our opponents ahead. But on the 18th minute, Dmytro Voytenko equalized again. And still at halftime, Italy led with a score of 5:2 thanks to Marco Jordanie, Samuele Sassari and Alessandro Remedi. Oleksandr Samoylenko also received a yellow card.

At the start of the third period, Jose Gentilin scored another goal for our team's opponents. Then it was Matteo Santini’s turn, with Samuele Sassari sealing the match on the 36th minute.

Thus, Ukraine lost 2-8 and secured second place in Group B.
