In their second Euro-2025 (U-21) match, Ukraine's youth team defeated Finland (2:0). The game was commented on by players from our team, Konstantin Vovcharenko, Yegor Yamoluk, and Maxim Bragaru.

Konstantin Vovcharenko (defender): "The impressions from the match are simply wonderful. The main thing is that we won. So far, the coach hasn't said anything to us, but he will probably tell us today during the team meeting. The feeling that we're still in the game and that we have a chance to qualify from the group stage greatly affects our emotional state and atmosphere. We believe in our strength and that we can do it. Of course, there's an important final match ahead of us. We watched the Denmark vs Netherlands match, but its result isn't too crucial since everything depends on us."

Yegor Yamoluk (midfielder): "We have a good mood, it's an important win for us, so we're moving forward. For me, the most important thing is that we won and earned three points. But to advance to the knockout stage, we need to play well in our last match. We watched both of the Netherlands' matches at this tournament and know how strong a rival they are. But we will try to show our best game."

Maxim Bragaru (midfielder): "The mood is positive. Everyone is satisfied because we won, which is the most important thing for us. The first half from our side was very good, but after scoring a goal somewhere in the second half, we kind of sat back. Maybe the result isn't quite deserved, but we still won. I come out onto the field and do my job. God somehow helps me score goals. This is my goal and dream—to score for the youth team. I want to play in every match and show my level.

We had two matches of our own kind. Maybe we played better against Denmark but lost, while here we won. We analyzed our mistakes from the first meeting and tried not to repeat them in the second one. Now the Netherlands are waiting for us—a very strong team with quality players. It will be interesting to play against such an opponent."

As a reminder, the blue and yellow team will play their third group stage match on Wednesday, June 18 against the Netherlands. The game will take place in Prešov and start at 7:00 PM.
