Today, on June 12 in Slovakia, the final tournament of Euro-2025 (U-21) begins, which will be attended by Ukraine's youth national team. This will be their fourth such forum.

We remind you that under Unai Melgosa's leadership, the team worked in Spain and managed to play two friendlies against "Murcia" U-21 (4:0) and Spain U-21 (1:0). After that, the Ukrainians moved to Slovakia, where they will play three group stage matches of the Euro-2025 (U-21) final tournament: two in Prešov—against Denmark (June 12th) and the Netherlands (June 18th), one in Košice—against Finland (June 15th).

Today's match against Denmark will start at 7 PM Kyiv time. 

«For us, the path we took to get here was very important. We need to believe in our strength and in how we achieve our goals. For me, this is part of future success. We are here to play against quality teams with talented players. The result, of course, matters, but it's also very important how the players cope when they face strong opponents», — noted head coach of Ukraine's youth national team Unai Melgosa.

It should be noted that the matches of the final stage of the Euro-2025 (U-21) championship with Ukraine's youth national team will be broadcast live by media service MEGOGO and Suspilne.

MEGOGO, which won the tender for broadcasting Euro-2025 (U-21) matches in Ukraine, will show all tournament games on its own OTT platform. Games of the Ukrainian national team as well as individual matches involving other youth teams will be broadcast by free TV channel "MEGOGO Sport"—in digital airwaves (DVB-T2) and cable networks.

Suspilne Mova will show part of the tournament matches. Specifically, on TV channel "First" and on Suspilne Sport website, all three group stage games of Ukraine's youth national team as well as two quarter-finals, semi-finals, and the final will be broadcast.

A special studio will operate on Suspilne before each match involving Ukraine's national team and after it.

We add that the top two teams from each group advance to the quarter-finals. In case of equal points, first consideration is given to head-to-head results (points, goal difference, number of goals scored), then—overall goal difference and number of goals scored, disciplinary points, and team ranking. If two teams have identical points and goal difference and are competing for a place in the knockout stage, if their match ends in a draw, a penalty shootout will be held.
