During the matches of the Nations League, thanks to the support of fans of the national team of Ukraine, over 1,700,000 UAH was collected. These funds became the foundation for a new initiative by the Foundation of the Football Association of Ukraine (FAU) — a program of rehabilitation sports camps.

The first camp, oriented towards physical and psychological rehabilitation through sport, took place last week in Zakarpattia. Participants included patients from the Superhumans Center — veterans and veteran women who, despite difficult life circumstances, demonstrate an unbreakable spirit and will to recover.

Within the program, participants underwent training in archery, table tennis, and also discovered amputee football — an adapted form of football for players with amputations. The introduction to amputee football was conducted by experts from the FAU project "League of Strong."

The Foundation of the Football Association of Ukraine sincerely thanks its partners from Superhumans for a fruitful collaboration in implementing this important project and is already working on organizing future camps, as it believes that sport is not only a path to physical recovery but also a powerful tool for support and motivation on the way to a new quality of life.
