In January 2025, the UEFA Dispute Resolution Chamber received official recognition from FIFA for full compliance with updated standards for national dispute resolution bodies.

This event was historic for UEFA as only representatives of eight national dispute resolution bodies have undergone a similar accreditation process to date worldwide.

This recognition is the result of implementing FIFA's updated set of requirements aimed at ensuring fairness, transparency, and consistency in resolving disputes arising in football at the national level, which became effective in January 2024.

This system guarantees that disputes in football—from player transfers to contract violations—will be reviewed by bodies with the necessary qualifications and independence.

FIFA's decision is evidence of UEFA's commitment to fair and effective dispute resolution in Ukrainian football, as well as a positive assessment in the context of ongoing efforts to enhance legal and regulatory support for the development of football in Ukraine. It ensures that Ukrainian football meets the best international practices and standards.

It is worth noting that this step will contribute to strengthening confidence in Ukrainian football both nationally and internationally, providing greater assurance among players, clubs, and other interested parties.
