Two workshops were held at House of Football in Kyiv: one for clubs seeking admission to UEFA club competitions and national (Women's Higher League) tournaments, and another for amateur clubs aspiring to promotion in the 2025/2026 season.
Both events received significant attention from the national association’s leadership, including Anastasiya Klipachenko, Head of the UAF Committee for Women's and Girls' Football, and Oleksandr Kadenko, President of the Ukrainian PFL.
The sessions began with remarks from UAF First Vice President Pavlo Boichuk, who highlighted recent efforts by the national association to improve the licensing system in line with UEFA trends.
Viktor Bezsmertnyi, Head of the UAF Club Licensing Committee, opened his presentation by discussing recent personnel changes in the committee's auxiliary body — the administrative division for club licensing within the UAF Central Licensing Department.
Bezsmertnyi also informed attendees about newly adopted UAF Executive Committee decisions regarding club licensing. These include the approval of licensing regulations for UPL/PFL/women's clubs, deadlines for the primary process, and a reduction in the mandatory licensing fee for UPL clubs.

A highlight appreciated by all participating clubs was the diversity of topics covered during the workshops. Engaging speakers from various specialized fields presented on key aspects of the licensing criteria, making the sessions more dynamic and informative. Notable contributors included Valeriy Zolotukhin, Yuriy Nestryha, Andryi Taran, Oleksiy Koshevarov, Yevheniya Yershova, Iryna Makarevych, Olha Babak, and Serhiy Yelshov.
In these challenging times of full-scale war, preserving communication among all stakeholders is essential. Demonstrating unity and responsibility in meeting the minimum licensing criteria is vital to maintaining progress and belief in a free and independent Ukraine.
