The "Open Football Lessons" project of the Ukrainian Association of Football and the Chernihiv Oblast Association of Football visited Kiptivka community in Chernihiv region, creating a youth football hub as part of the event.

More than 70 girls and boys from Novoshlykhivsky, Chemersky, and Progresivsky educational institutions in the community were able to immerse themselves in football locations organized by young leaders under the guidance of Bogdan Dzhuman, the police station's safety field, and Tetiana Vovnyanko's psychological support field.

After the event, each participant received a T-shirt, baseball cap, diploma of the project, and treats from the organizers, while schools received footballs and sports equipment for further activities with children.

Volunteer leader Bogdan Dzhuman thanked the entire local organizing team, UAF, the oblast association, and personally the regional coordinator of the project, Deputy Chairman of COAF Anatoliy Svystun, for close cooperation and a bright celebration of football and sports for children from villages affected by war.

The "Open Football Lessons" project of the Ukrainian Association of Football and oblast associations, supported by the New Democracy Foundation (NDF), the Cross-Cultural Projects Association (CCPA) from Denmark, and UEFA, is:

• psychosocial support for children of military personnel, internally displaced persons' children, and those affected by war;
• unity and friendship between IDP children and local children, social integration;
• inclusive environment where participants are independent of their abilities, gender, as well as the participation of children with special educational needs;
• safety knowledge in wartime conditions;
• philosophy of mass football - joy from playing instead of results at any cost;
• nurturing a healthy lifestyle;
• volunteer development;
• activation of local communities through intersectoral networks (teachers, coaches, psychologists, security experts, parents, youth leaders, local authorities, patrons, etc.).

All project events are held in regions with the approval of oblast military administrations.
