"Open Football Lessons" visited Sinyelivka, which is in Dnipropetrovska Oblast
In Synelnykove, in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, at the local lyceum № 7 within the framework of a project by the Ukrainian Football Association and the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Football Association, the "Open Football Lessons" festival took place. 72 children were divided into six teams and got acquainted with football at six different locations on the football field.

A football festival called "Open Football Lessons" took place at the local school № 7 in Synelnykove, Dnipropetrovsk region, within the framework of a project by the Ukrainian Association of Football and the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Football Association.
Seventy-two children were divided into six teams and got acquainted with football at six different locations on the football field. The festival began with a march to music, after which young leaders who implement their ideas in the youth football hub of the project guided the children to various locations. One location was dedicated to safety and was supervised by police officers; another focused on psychology, while others were purely football-related.

Twelve young leaders along with experienced volunteers organized a wonderful event for future stars of football in the city.
According to organizer Oleksandr Rodzyn, the held festival contributed to improving the emotional state of both children and their parents, establishing new friendly connections among children. All participants will have pleasant memories thanks to the impressions received and gifts.

Participants of the festival included children of military personnel, internally displaced persons' children, children with special educational needs, and orphans.

The project "Open Football Lessons" of the Ukrainian Association of Football and regional associations, supported by the New Democracy Fund (NDF), the Cross-Cultural Projects Association (CCPA) from Denmark, and UEFA is:
- psychosocial support for children of military personnel, IDP children, and war-affected children;
- unity and friendship among IDP children with local children, social integration;
- inclusive environment, participation regardless of ability level or gender, as well as the involvement of children with special educational needs;
- safety knowledge in wartime conditions;
- philosophy of mass football - joy from playing rather than results at any cost;
- nurturing a healthy lifestyle;
- volunteer development;
- activation of local communities through intersectoral networks (teachers, coaches, psychologists, security experts, parents, youth leaders, local authorities, patrons, etc.).
All project events are held in regions with the approval of regional military administrations.
