Ukraine beach soccer team secures second dominant victory in Euro Beach Soccer League 2024

Today, in Batumi, Georgia, the Ukraine beach soccer team continued their campaign in the Euro Beach Soccer League 2024 Division B.

On July 17, under the guidance of Mykola Kostenkо, Ukraine delivered a crushing defeat to Lebanon (6:1). Today, they faced Saudi Arabia.

The Ukrainians started the match strongly, with Andriy Pashko opening the scoring in the 7th minute. In the second 12-minute period, Oleh Zborovskyi first doubled the lead and then added a third goal for the team.

At the start of the final period, Dmytro Voitok scored, and only then did Al Hamami reduce the deficit for Saudi Arabia. However, the final word was left to the Ukrainians. Yuriy Shcherytsia extended Ukraine's lead to four goals in the 31st minute, and then Zborovskyi completed his hat-trick in the 35th minute — 6:1.

Tomorrow, July 19, in a decisive match for the top spot in Group B, Ukraine, now a semi-finalist, will face the UAE at 18:00.
