Andriy Lunin: "It's good that I had some work to do, it keeps me in shape and boosts confidence"

Ukraine national team goalkeeper Andriy Lunin shared his impressions of the friendly match against Moldova (4:0).

"Physically, I feel good; I only missed two days. We were preparing for the first match at the Euros — against Romania, trying to follow the coach's tactical instructions both in defense and attack and choosing the right positions.

It's good that I had some work to do because it keeps me in shape and boosts my confidence. We're approaching the Euros, and we have a few days left for preparation.

The stadium in Moldova is great and compact, and I like that the stands are close to the field. It's quite atmospheric, with a full stadium. The pitch is good, and it's a pleasure to play here. Moldova welcomed us very warmly, which is very nice, and they wished us success at the Euros. I'm grateful for that," said Andriy Lunin.
