Ukrainian futsal student teams conclude group stage at World Championship in Shanghai
From now until June 16th, the World Futsal Championship among men's and women's student teams is taking place in Shanghai, China, with Ukraine participating.
Following the draw, the opponents for our men's national team are New Zealand, Croatia, and Mongolia (Group C), while the women's national team will face China, Brazil, and Germany (Group A).
Fourteen teams are competing in the men's tournament and seven in the women's. Players up to 25 years old - born in 1999 and younger - are eligible to participate.
Today, June 12th, marked the final matches of the group stage. Ukraine's men's team crushed Mongolia (8:1), while the women's team fell to Brazil (2:6).
