The World Futsal Championship among men's and women's student teams is taking place in Shanghai, China until June 16, with Ukraine participating.
Following the draw, Ukraine's men's team will face New Zealand, Croatia, and Mongolia (Group C), while the women's team will compete against China, Brazil, and Germany (Group A).
In the men's tournament, 14 teams are competing, while there are seven teams in the women's tournament. Players up to the age of 25, born in 1999 and younger, are eligible to participate.
Today, on June 10, the first matches of the group stage took place. Ukraine's men's team defeated New Zealand (9:1), while the women's team drew with Germany (2:2).

It's worth noting that two years ago, the men's student team of Ukraine won silver medals in Portugal, while the women's team finished fifth.
