EURO 2024. Latest from Ukraine's camp: pre-match training held in Chișinău
The Ukrainian national team held an official training session on the field of Zimbru Stadium, where they will face Moldova in their final friendly match before EURO 2024 tomorrow.
In Chișinău, the high humidity combined with the temperature (29 degrees Celsius) creates a stifling atmosphere. The weather conditions here differ from those in Warsaw, which saw off the blue-yellow team with rain today.

The flight to Chișinău took nearly two hours. From the airport, the team went straight to the hotel and, after lunch and a short rest, headed to Zimbru Stadium, where the Moldovan national team traditionally plays its matches. The arena is small, with a capacity of 10,500 spectators. The stands are low, so residents of nearby high-rise buildings don't need to worry about tickets to watch the games. Despite this, the stadium is expected to be nearly full tomorrow: 9,000 tickets have been sold so far.

Upon stepping onto the pitch, the Ukrainian team immediately felt the warm hospitality and support of the hosts, which was certainly pleasant. The stadium screen initially displayed "Welcome!" in large letters, which later changed to "Good luck at EURO!"

The entire squad listed for EURO 2024 participated in the evening official session. As is typical for pre-game training, it focused on the tactical setup for tomorrow's game. Specifically, under Serhiy Rebrov's instructions, the players practiced passing and various finishing options with shots on goal.
