Throughout its history, the Ukraine national team has played in Chisinau twice, where today they will meet Moldova's team in a friendly match at the «Zimbru» stadium (kick-off at 7:00 PM Kyiv time). Both previous encounters took place in different locations: the first one was held at the no longer existing local Republican Stadium (1996, 2-2), while the second one occurred exactly on the grounds of today's opponents' match venue (2012, 0-0).
