In the context of preparing for the Euro-2025 (U-19) futsal selection, Igor Mosyichov's wards will participate in the Summer Cup tournament, which will be hosted by the Croatian city of Poreč.

As reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Futsal Association, 12 teams will take part in the competition, divided into four groups of three participants each, where matches will be played under a round-robin system. The winners of each group advance to the semifinals.

The Ukrainian U-19 youth team has been placed in Group D, where they will face their counterparts from Turkey (June 18) and Croatia (June 19). Both matches start at 7:15 PM Kyiv time.

We remind you that our team will learn its opponents for the Euro-2025 (U-19) selection during the draw of both the preliminary and main rounds, which will take place on October 31.

The inaugural European Championship for youth futsal was held in Rijeka in 2019, the second edition took place in Hain (originally planned for 2021 but postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic), and the third one in Poreč in 2023. The champions have been teams from Spain (20192022) and Portugal (2023).

The Ukrainian team participated in all three final tournaments. In 2019, Vitaliy Odegov's wards secured third place in their group, while in 2022 they reached the semifinals. In 2023, Igor Mosyichov's team also made it to the semifinal stage.
