The final tournament of the 2024 World Men's Handball Championship will take place in Uzbekistan from September 14 to October 6 in three cities — Andijan, Bukhara and Tashkent.

We remind you that among those who received tickets is the Ukrainian team. The draw ceremony will take place on May 26 at Registan Square in Samarkand city. Blue-and-yellow qualified for the second pot.

During the draw, 24 teams will be divided into six groups of four participants. Two best teams from each quartet and four third-placed teams will advance to the knockout stage. After that, round-of-16 matches, quarter-finals, semi-finals, match for third place and final will take place.

Our team secured their license last December after defeating Poland (5:3) in the elite round of qualification. Oleksandr Kosenko's wards topped their group and earned a direct ticket to the World Cup. Along with Ukraine, Kazakhstan, France, Spain, and Portugal also qualified from Europe. Two more lucky teams were determined later after playoff matches where Netherlands beat Finland, while Croatia — Poland.
