In the ranking of national teams updated by UEFA, the Ukraine futsal team is in fifth place.

According to the UEFA ranking, blue-and-yellow are among the top ten best European teams, holding fifth position. It should be noted that Portugal leads the ranking.

The position of the national team determines the number of representatives from the country in the UEFA Champions League. As reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Futsal Association, two clubs will be sent to the CL for the 2025/2026 season.

With a slight chance, Ukraine may lose this opportunity if the European tournament of the next season is won by a team not from one of the top three countries in the UEFA ranking.
