For the first time since the start of the full-scale invasion, the Ukrainian Football Association is holding the final match of the Vbet Cup, in which Poltava's "Vorskla" and Donetsk's "Shakhtar" will meet on May 15.

The match will be available for viewing by every Ukrainian. The Ukrainian Football Association has secured support from Ukraine's largest media holding, Starlight Media, and together with the TV channel ICTV2, they will broadcast the game. 

"For the first time in two years, the UAF is returning the final match of the Vbet Cup. This match is dedicated to the Forces of Defense as a sign of gratitude for protecting our lives. Thanks only to the soldiers is it possible to hold the final of the Vbet Cup. The UAF appreciates the cooperation with Starlight Media, which will allow us to highlight an important event in Ukrainian football and unite all football fans," — commented President of the Ukrainian Football Association Andriy Shevchenko.

The match has been named a Match of Gratitude to the Forces of Defense of Ukraine. Because holding the final of the Vbet Cup with fans at the stadium is possible only thanks to the defenders and defenders who heroically defend our country. All proceeds from ticket sales will be transferred to military needs.

We are grateful to our soldiers — thanks to their brave defense, Ukrainian football and life in our cities have returned to Ukrainians. We hope that broadcasting the Vbet Cup Final live will be the first step of our joint activities with the Ukrainian Football Association, and viewers will see even more exciting matches," — stated Executive Director of ICTV, ICTV2 and Starlight Doc Anastasia Steinhaus.
