On April 17, the final stage draw for Euro-2024 (U-19) took place, as a result of which Ukraine's youth team was placed in Group A, where it will play against teams from Northern Ireland (hosts), Norway, and Italy.

The schedule for the blue-and-yellow team at the European Championship is now known. The matches of the group stage will be played on July 15th, 18th, and 21st.

Recall that on March 26, our team successfully concluded the elite round of Euro-2024 (U-19) qualification with a victory over Switzerland (3:0). Before this, the team led by Dmitry Mykhaylenko defeated North Macedonia (2:0) and Latvia (3:0). The blue-and-yellow team won their group with a maximum score and secured a spot in the final tournament of the European Championship.

The main event, featuring eight teams, will take place from July 15 to 28 in Northern Ireland. From each quartet, two best teams will advance to the semifinals, on July 28 at "Windsor Park" in Belfast the main trophy will be awarded. A match for third place is not scheduled, but a match for fifth place is planned since Europe will send five representatives to the World Cup 2025 among U-20 teams that will feature 24 national teams. Thus, four semifinalists are joined by the winner of the match between the third-placed teams in each group.

It is worth noting that for Ukraine's U-19 team, this will be their eighth final tournament of the European Championship.
