A meeting of the Regions Assembly of the Ukrainian Association of Football took place at the House of Football. We remind you that its creation was initiated by President of the Ukrainian Association of Football, Andriy Shevchenko.

"The Regions Assembly should become a platform for communication between regional associations and the UAF and will prepare proposals on issues related to the development of football in regions for further approval by the executive committee," — noted Andriy Shevchenko.

At the previous meeting on March 18, the Council of the Regions Assembly of the UAF was elected, which included the head of the Zakarpattya Football Association Ivan Duran, the head of the Kirovohrad Regional Football Association Viktor Bezsmertnyy, and the first deputy head of the Kharkiv Regional Football Association Viktor Kovalevsky.

The meeting of the Regions Assembly on April 17 was held under the chairmanship of Ivan Duran. In addition to regional association leaders, President of the UAF Andriy Shevchenko, First Vice-President Pavlo Boychuk, Vice-President Oleksandr Shevchenko, General Secretary Igor Gryshchenko, and representatives of the UAF Arbitration Committee headed by Kateryna Monzul also participated.

During the meeting, participants discussed in particular the format, terms, and regulations for conducting the Ukrainian Champions Cup, which will be attended by winners of regional competitions.

Also, participants talked about principles for forming lists of children who suffered from military actions for rest in sports camps abroad.

There was a lengthy discussion on the interaction between regional associations and the arbitration committee, particularly regarding the formation of referees' lists to serve competitions under the auspices of the UAF.

Participants of the Regions Assembly were also informed about proposals by the children's-youth football committee concerning improving control over the conduct of children's-youth tournaments in regions, as well as an initiative regarding the creation of a Children's-Youth Coaches Association. It was agreed to cooperate during the determination of mechanisms for certifying children's-youth football schools of all forms of ownership and to encourage coaches for preparing football players at a young age.

In addition, members of the Regions Assembly determined four candidates to be delegated to the UAF Development Committee. They are Yaroslav Derevyanko (Dnipropetrovsk Football Association), Dmytro Serhods'kyi (Odesa Regional Football Association), Vitaliy Mokienko (Zaporizhzhia Regional Football Association) and Dmytro Andriyshyn (Terнопіль Football Association).
