Today, April 13, Oleksandr Kosenko's wards will start their international tournament in Lithuania with a match against the hosts (kick-off at 15:00 Kyiv time).

The participants of the competition will be teams from Ukraine, Brazil, France, and Lithuania, which is the host of Euro-2026. The matches will take place in Jonava on April 13th, 15th, and 16th. Before this, our team prepared in Kaunas.

As a reminder, Ukraine's futsal team is preparing for the final tournament of the World Championship, which will take place from September 14 to October 6 in Uzbekistan. Our team secured its license last December after defeating Poland (5:3) in the elite round of qualification. Oleksandr Kosenko's wards topped their group and earned a direct ticket to the World Cup. Along with Ukraine, Kazakhstan, France, Spain, and Portugal also qualified from Europe. Two more lucky teams will be determined on April 17 after play-off matches between the Netherlands and Finland, as well as Poland and Croatia. All tournament participants will be known by April 28, following the completion of regional qualification competitions. The draw will take place in Tashkent this summer; a specific date will be announced later.
