The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy congratulated the national football team on their significant success - qualifying for the European Championship:

"Thank you, guys! Thank you, team! For overwhelming emotions across the nation! For the crucial victory and qualification for the Euros.

Once again for proving that when Ukrainians face difficulties but do not give up and continue to fight, then Ukrainians always win.

In the face of daily threats to destroy us, we reaffirm each day: Ukrainians not only endure, but persist, and will continue to do so!

Ukraine exists and will prevail!

Recalling, the national team of Ukraine secured their place in the European Championship in Germany after defeating Iceland (2:1) in the playoff qualification final.
