Tuesday, March 26, Ukraine's youth national team (players born in 2005 or later) will continue their fight in the elite round of Euro 2024 qualification (U-19). At 3 PM Kyiv time, they will play their third match against Switzerland.

Earlier, under Dmitro Mykhaylenko's guidance, the team defeated North Macedonia (2:0) and Latvia (3:0). The Swiss also have two wins but a worse goal difference. Therefore, for Ukraine to secure their first step in the group and qualify for Euro 2024, they need only a draw.

The draw for the elite round divided 28 teams into seven groups, with matches taking place in March. The winners of these groups will join host Northern Ireland in the final stage, which will take place from July 15 to 28, 2024 and serve as a UEFA qualifier for the 2025 World Cup (U-20).
