The blue-and-yellow continue preparing for the Euro 2024 playoff final against Iceland's national team. Midfielder of our team, Oleksandr Zinchenko, shared his thoughts on the upcoming match.

"Preparation is going well; we will see what we can demonstrate on the football field because practice and game are different things. We need to confirm our status since I believe that we have a very good team with great players. We need to show our best game."

During preparation, we focus more on our own play. Yes, we analyzed Iceland's national team, saw their strengths and weaknesses. We will see how it all ends. Icelanders love playing with four defenders and like counterattacks. There are players to pay attention to. But first and foremost, we need to rely on our game, and then we'll see.

I believe that with the support of our fans in the stands, we can do everything within our power. We were told there will be a full stadium, which is very pleasant. Support from our supporters always helps.

Of course, every day we need to say that Ukraine needs global support; we have to remind people because maybe someone has forgotten about it. As I said earlier, today Ukraine is the shield for all of Europe. Because there's a war in our country today, and tomorrow it could be in yours. So we need to support each other. Good always triumphs over evil," — said Oleksandr Zinchenko.
