Despite the rain in Opalenica, Poland, where the Ukraine team is based, the squad conducted an intense training session, filled with quick movements and finishing drills. Forward of the blue-and-yellow team, Danylo Sikanchuk shared his impressions about the preparation for the match against Iceland.

"Today we had a good intensive work — preparing for the decisive game. We analyzed our play against Bosnia and will be analyzing Iceland. We reviewed our mistakes that we need to correct, and we aim to improve further. I have great motivation to make it into the lineup, as there might be some rotation. Each of us wants to be on the field. We are counting on the support of our fans in Wroclaw and invite them to the match; we will be very grateful."

As a reminder, the final play-off match for Euro 2024 qualification between Ukraine and Iceland will take place on March 26 at the "Tychy Arena Wroclaw" in Wroclaw, Poland, starting at 8:45 PM local time (9:45 PM Kyiv time).
