Today's playoff Euro-2024 final match between Ukraine — Iceland, which will take place in Wrocław, Poland at "Tarchomin Arena" (kickoff — 9:45 PM Kyiv time), will be the fifth meeting of the opponents in history.

Today's final match of the Euro-2024 playoff qualifier between Ukraine and Iceland, which will take place in Wrocław, Poland at the "Tarchomin Arena" (kickoff at 9:45 PM Kyiv time), will be the fifth meeting between these rivals in history.

Unfortunately, our team cannot boast a positive balance in these encounters. They have managed to secure only one victory over Iceland. The decisive penalty was scored by current Ukraine coach Serhiy Rebrov (1-0). Twice Ukraine played Iceland to a draw with goals from Volodymyr Vasyunyk and Andriy Yarmolenko (1-1), and once they lost (0-2).
