Today, on March 14 in the Netherlands, the Ukrainian women's team WU-17 started their second round of qualification for Euro-2024 in Group A with a match against the hosts.
Thanks to support from the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB), the Ukrainian team began their training right on the territory of the host country, in the city of Delft. Today in Noordwijk at Gemeentelijk Sportpark S.J.C., blue and yellow met with the hosts of Group A5.
Already in the second minute, the Dutch led on the scoreboard. They then controlled the course of events and scored two more goals by the end of the first half.
In the second half of the game, the hosts added a fourth goal from the penalty spot. So in the end, Ukraine conceded — 0:4.
The next match of Euro-2024 qualification will see Sergei Sapronov's wards against Spain on March 17.

In the second round of qualification, seven teams will be determined to join Sweden at the final stage of the European Championship for girls under 17 years old, as well as teams that will move from one league to another. The seeding during the draw for the second round was based on the positions in which the teams finished in the first round.
