President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, informing about new support for our country from Germany and the Netherlands as well as restoration works in certain regions where power outages occurred due to Russian strikes.

"I wish health to all Ukrainians,

Today is another day of gratitude, respect for everyone who helps our country stand firm, fights for Ukraine and wins.

Awarded today the soldiers of the General Staff with state awards. Those very guys who secured a new success for Ukraine - sinking a Russian military ship in Lake Donuzlav in our Crimea. A powerful act. But also an effective one, and incredibly beneficial: less Russian fleet in the Black Sea means more security both in the region and globally.

Today we continued our new tradition of honoring all Heroes of Ukraine. I presented certificates for apartments to soldiers awarded with the Order "Golden Star" and to relatives of our heroes. Another 30 families. Soldiers who fought against occupiers before and during this war. Every story of every hero deserves to be remembered and honored by Ukrainians.

I would like to thank separately today all partners of Ukraine who supported and continue supporting our country. Work is ongoing with teams from European countries regarding strengthening Ukraine, new defense packages, security decisions. This week we have new support for our state from Germany, the Netherlands. Luxembourg joined our aviation coalition. Lithuania - there's a new package. Discussed further defense cooperation with Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs. Defense contracts are being executed that are critically important to us. There is reinforcement of PPOs. Remember: the war started by Russia on the Ukrainian front, but its target is not just our state, not just our independence. Therefore, it's crucially important to maintain maximum consolidation of the free world and do everything possible so Ukraine can inflict defeats on Russia. That’s all Moscow understands. We continue working with partners regarding new sanctions against Russia and blocking Russian sanction evasion schemes. And most actively - regarding confiscation of Russian assets that were distributed in various jurisdictions. I am grateful to everyone who helps us in this work concerning the confiscation of Russian assets.

And one more thing.

Restoration works are currently underway in certain regions of our country where power outages occurred due to Russian strikes. Dnipropetrovsk region, particularly Kryvyi Rih - energy workers are working to restore electricity as soon as possible for all consumers. I sent the head of "Ukrainian Energy" to the region along with all necessary specialists and resources. The Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal informed me today about the work and protection of energy facilities. I thank every repair team, everyone involved.

To be selfless at your level, effective, brave - that means for Ukraine to be a strong state capable of defending itself. I thank everyone who understands this.
