President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, speaking about the need to maintain confidence in our relations with partners, particularly in the European Union, and about the outcomes of meetings of our representatives in Switzerland.

Security Council — early morning. Reports from the military, MVS, intelligence information, reports from regions regarding the resolution of consequences of Russian strikes. Odesa, Donetsk... Separately — in New York today preparations are underway for a UN Security Council meeting, the minister of foreign affairs reported on our relevant work and contacts with partners.

The day — conversation with the President of Slovenia. Topics — both bilateral and international cooperation. Slovenia has joined the UN Security Council and is an active participant in European institution processes. We discussed our interaction at all levels. Of course, I informed her about the situation on the battlefield and the nature of our current needs. It is especially important to maintain confidence in relations with our partners, particularly in the European Union. I am grateful for understanding regarding macrofinance and the need for continued steadfast support for Ukraine. This is a key signal that must be seen by the enemy. Russia should feel that Europe at all levels remains ready to defend its values and unity. We also discussed cooperation concerning the Peace Formula with President of Slovenia.

Among all meetings today, I would highlight the lengthy meeting on the outcomes of various talks of our representatives in Switzerland, primarily at the governmental level. Government officials, economic team of the Office. There were many agreements in Davos and there were many meetings, particularly with international business. We need to implement everything that was discussed as quickly as possible. Our people — Ukrainian society — should feel concrete results from our foreign policy activities. Because now the social situation in Ukraine is largely based on the quality of implementation of international agreements. Separately, the Prime Minister reported on talks with his Slovak colleague. Ukraine is interested in fully practical work with our neighbors in the EU — in everything that strengthens our peoples and economies, job opportunities in our countries.

And one more thing.

Our soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine. There is reason to honor them today. Special task forces 1st and 3rd separate storm battalions «Omega». The boys are fighting very effectively on the front line, in real hot spots of the frontline. 15th Svyatogorivsky Regiment and 4th Operational Brigade of the National Guard — this is the Eastern direction. Thank you for your accuracy, soldiers!
