The XXVI Congress of the Ukrainian Football Association is taking place in the Kyiv Football House, one of the items on its agenda being "On the election of the President of the UAF."

As a result of the voting by delegates at the congress, Andriy Shevchenko was elected as the President of the Ukrainian Football Association. He received 93 votes out of 94 (Andriy Shevchenko himself, who is also a delegate to the congress, did not participate in the vote).
