The main motivation for the Ukrainian people to continue fighting against Russia's full-scale aggression is the desire for justice and freedom, values shared by all civilized people. This is why the world must help Ukraine, especially by strengthening its economy, as our country today strengthens global security. President Volodymyr Zelensky stated this during his participation in a special session of the World Economic Forum in Davos.

In response to questions from participants, the Head of State noted that the Ukrainian people will never forgive Vladimir Putin, his entourage, and all those who supported this war and terrorism against our citizens, causing death and suffering to children.

"We are not terrorists, so these will be criminal and judicial proceedings. And there must be accountability. It has to be. Otherwise, after this terror, others will come, there will be repetitions, autocracy, aggression. Because it is possible if there are no consequences. So nobody will forgive anyone who committed murder," he said.

At the same time, Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that the moral spirit of Ukrainians is supported not by a desire for revenge but by the pursuit of justice, which should be reflected in verdicts for specific individuals who committed crimes.

"The moral spirit supports the Ukrainian people's desire to be free. The Ukrainian nation fights for freedom, human rights, their choice — how they want to live, whom they want to choose, whom they want to love, where they want to rest. They fight absolutely courageously and firmly. And they fight for our shared values," he stressed.

According to the President, it is harder to understand the value of freedom and justice when there is no threat to them, when there is no war. But people in all civilized countries should understand their value before disaster strikes and support Ukraine.

"And if we all understand this, we will unite to help Ukraine and politically isolate Putin. And these will be the right preventive political steps so that war does not pass through Ukraine and does not come to other countries. This is exactly what Putin wants," President Volodymyr Zelensky was convinced.

In response to questions about how countries around the world can help Ukraine, the President called on them to invest in our country. According to him, this will strengthen Ukraine's economy and facilitate the return home of Ukrainian citizens, while a strong Ukraine will enhance the security of other nations.

"Our strength and wealth are primarily people. They have shown the whole world that they are intelligent, talented, modern, and clever. They are brave and absolutely open. And I told you today that building a strong economy for us can only be done by our population, our nation, and your investments, jobs. For this, we need investments from completely understandable, predictable, clean companies," the Head of State concluded.
