The enemy continues to ignore the laws and customs of war, employs a tactic of terror, carries out missile and air strikes, conducts artillery attacks with multiple rocket launchers not only on military targets but also on numerous civilian objects in our country.

During the past day, 89 combat engagements took place. In total, the enemy carried out seven missile and sixty-five aerial strikes, conducted forty-four artillery attacks with multiple rocket launchers against positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are casualties among civilians. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were damaged.

Aerial attacks hit Vovchans'k, Synykhivka, Ivanivka, Vilhuvatka in the Kharkiv region; Novoyegorivka, Serebryanske forest district in the Luhansk region; Zelena Dolina, Kolyadyzhy, Bogdanivka, Oleksandriopil, Novobakhmutivka, Avdiyivka, Georgiyivka, Novomikhaylivka in the Donetsk region.

More than 110 populated areas in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "North" on the Volynian and Polesian fronts, the operational situation remains unchanged.

On the Northern and Slobozhanskyi fronts the enemy maintains military presence in border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent our troops from redeploying to threatening directions, increases the density of mine-explosive obstacles along the state border in Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Khortytsia" on the Kupyansk front, Ukrainian defenders repelled nine attacks by the enemy near Synykhivka and Petro-Pavlivka in the Kharkiv region.

On the Lyman front our defenders repelled six attacks by occupiers in the areas of Makieivka in Luhansk region and Hryhorivka, Veseloye in Donetsk region.

On the Bakhmut front our soldiers repelled five attacks by the enemy near Andriyivka and Klyshchyvka in Donetsk region.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Tavria" on the Avdiivka front, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy, who does not give up attempts to encircle Avdiyivka. Our soldiers firmly hold their defense, inflicting significant losses on occupiers. Thus, during the past day, forces of defense repelled four attacks by aggressors near Avdiyivka and another 17 attacks in the vicinity of Pervomayskoye and Nevelskye in Donetsk region.

On the Mariupol front, Ukrainian soldiers continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Krasnogorivka, Georgiyivka, Mariinka, Novomikhaylivka in Donetsk region, where 26 attacks were repelled.

On the Shakhtarsk front, forces of defense repelled four attacks by enemy south of Zolotoy Niva and west of Staro-Maiorskye in Donetsk region.

On the Zaporizhzhia front, our defenders repelled eight attacks by occupiers west of Verbovyye and Robotinoye in Zaporizhzhia region.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Odesa" on the Kherson front, forces of defense continue to take measures for expanding their foothold. Despite significant losses, the enemy does not give up attempts to drive our units from occupied positions. Thus, during the past day, the enemy carried out nine unsuccessful offensive actions.

At the same time, our soldiers continue active operations inflicting casualties on occupation troops in manpower and equipment, exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.

Occupation forces of the Russian Federation continue to suffer significant losses in personnel deployed in Eastern Ukraine. Only during the period from January 6 to 10 this year, a large number of personnel participating in battles in temporarily occupied Luhansk and Donetsk regions arrived at hospitals and medical facilities of the Ministry of Defense of the RF. Thus, over 300 occupiers with severe injuries arrived in populated areas of Chernyanka, Valuyki and Rovenky in Belgorod region from temporarily occupied Luhansk, to Belgorod — almost 250 Russian military personnel with extremely serious injuries, while Moscow and Kaliningrad were directed about 150 servicemen of the RF who cannot be helped at frontline hospitals due to lack of qualified doctors. Field hospitals of the Ministry of Defense of the RF are overcrowded and unable to cope with the number of wounded soldiers arriving in large numbers every day after meat-grinder assaults.

During the day, air forces of defense carried out strikes on 21 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, as well as four anti-aircraft missile complexes of the enemy.

Subunits of rocket troops inflicted damage to six areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, command post, artillery unit, two air defense systems, ammunition depot and radar station of the enemy.
