Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 6:00 on December 13, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The six hundred fifty-eighth day of Russia's large-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun.

During the past day, there were 95 combat engagements.

Overall, the enemy carried out two missile and thirteen air strikes, conducted sixty-three artillery attacks on our positions and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are casualties among civilians. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were damaged or destroyed.

In addition, yesterday Russia once again attacked Ukraine using ten Shahed-136/131 drones. Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed all the attacking drones.

Also today, Russian occupiers carried out another missile strike on Kyiv, using ten missiles (S-400 surface-to-air missiles and cruise missiles "Iskander"). Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed all the missiles. The consequences of the attack are being clarified.

Air strikes were suffered by Novomikhailivka and Kostiantynivka in Donetsk Oblast.

Over 130 populated areas in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kherson oblasts were under artillery fire.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "North" on the Volynian and Polesie fronts, the operational situation remains unchanged.

On the Northern and Slobozhanskyi fronts the enemy maintains military presence in border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent our troops from redeploying to threatening directions, and increases mine-explosive barriers along the state border in Belgorod Oblast.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Khortytsia" on the Kupyansk front, Ukrainian defenders repelled eight enemy attacks near Sinkyvka, Petro-Pavlivka, and Ivanivka in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Lysychansk front our defenders repelled two enemy attacks near Makеivka in Luhansk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut front our soldiers repelled five enemy attacks near Bogdanivka, Ivanivske, Klyshchyivka, and Andriyivka in Donetsk Oblast. The forces of Ukraine's defense continue to inflict losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment, consolidating their positions.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Tavria" on the Avdiivka front, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy who does not give up attempts to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers firmly hold their defense, inflicting significant losses on the enemy. Defense forces successfully repelled 51 enemy attacks in areas east of Novokalynove, east of Novobakhmutivka, Stepovyi, Avdiivka, south of Severnyi, south of Tonenkyi, Pervomaiske and Nevelskoe in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Mariupol front defense forces continue to hold back the enemy in areas near Novomikhailivka in Donetsk Oblast, where our defenders repelled 13 attacks.

On the Shakhtarsk front the enemy did not carry out offensive (assault) operations.

On the Zaporizhzhia front defense forces repelled eight attacks by the enemy in areas north of Pryvitne, west of Verbove and south of Robotino in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

At the same time on the Melitopol front Ukrainian defense forces continue to actively inflict losses on occupying troops in manpower and equipment, exhausting the enemy along the entire frontline.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Odessa" on the Kherson front defense forces continue to hold positions on the left bank of the Dnipro, continuing counter-battery fire and inflicting artillery strikes on enemy rear areas.

During the past day, air force units inflicted a strike in an area of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment of the enemy.

Subunits of rocket forces inflicted damage to two command points, three areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, and two ammunition depots of the enemy.
