UEFA Regions' Cup 2024/2025: Draw Determines Ukraine's Opponents in the Intermediate Round

Today, on December 7 during the draw, the groups for the preliminary and intermediate rounds of the UEFA Regions' Cup season-2024/2025 were determined.

Thirty-six national associations will participate in the tournament among amateur teams. Albania makes its debut, while Armenia plays for the first time since the 2010/2011 season.

Representatives of thirty associations with the highest coefficient in the UEFA Regions' Cup ranking will start competing in the intermediate round. Six remaining teams will compete for two spots in the preliminary round. All matches in the preliminary round must be played by July 31, 2024, and the intermediate round should be completed by December 6, 2024.

Eight winners of the intermediate round will advance to the final stage, which is scheduled for the last two weeks of June or July 2025.

Ukraine, which was in the second pot before the draw, will face representatives from Poland, Israel, and Kazakhstan in the intermediate round.

Preliminary Round

Group A: Estonia, Albania, Armenia.

Group B: Azerbaijan, Sweden, Georgia.

Six teams were divided into two groups of three participants. All matches will take place in the form of mini-tournaments at one stadium. Two group winners will advance to the intermediate round.

Intermediate Round

Group 1: Poland, Ukraine, Israel, Kazakhstan.

Group 2: Portugal, England, Finland, Latvia.

Group 3: Serbia, Slovakia, Wales, North Macedonia.

Group 4: Ireland, Switzerland, Northern Ireland, winner of Group B in the preliminary round.

Group 5: Czech Republic, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Scotland, winner of Group A in the preliminary round.

Group 6: Turkey, Hungary, San Marino, Slovenia.

Group 7: Spain, Bulgaria, Belarus, Moldova.

Group 8: Croatia, Italy, Romania, Malta.

Thirty-two teams were divided into eight groups of four participants. Hosts will be determined for each mini-tournament, and the eight group winners will advance to the final.
