Within the first round of the Champions Path, the yellow-and-blues advanced after drawing Bosnian "Sarajevo" — 1:1 and 3:1.

In the next stage of the tournament, Rukh faced Midtjylland. The first match, held in the Polish city of Stalowa Wola, ended with a defeat for the Ukrainians — 0:4.

Today, in the return match in Denmark, a narrow victory was secured by the yellow-and-blues — Vitaliy Khodak scored in added time. This means that Lviv's team concludes their participation in the tournament.
