Today the Ukrainian youth team (players born in 2005 or later) continued their battle in the qualification round for Euro-2024 (U-19).

Coach Oleg Kuznetsov's charges are competing in Group 7 alongside Slovakia, Kosovo, and Malta. After winning their first match of the mini-tournament held in Ta' Qali, Malta (3:1), today Ukraine faced Kosovo.

Unfortunately, the blue-and-yellow team could not compete with their opponents. In the first half, Elvir Gashi opened the scoring for his side. After halftime, Eliot Buyipi doubled Kosovo's lead, and later the same Gashi scored a brace. Near the end of the match, Elmardin Rama set the final score at 0:4.

As a result, the Kosovo team has accumulated four points and is now ahead of Ukraine in the standings.
