"I wish health to all Ukrainians!

Today, I had the honor of visiting and greeting our soldiers - artillerymen, rocket forces, and engineers. Today is the professional day for these branches of the military. I honored our defenders with state awards, thanked the commanders, and now I want to say to every artillery soldier, every soldier in the rocket forces, and every engineer - you are truly our support, the support of all defense and security forces. It is precisely what allows everyone to be steadfast and for units to advance on the front line, adding positions daily. Every 500 meters, every kilometer that boys cover - these are new operational opportunities for Ukraine, especially for our rockets. And by the way, this fall we have good, very important results in destroying Russian air defense systems and enemy aviation. We will continue this work - and I thank everyone who helps us with this.

I carried out a change in the command structure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces - appointing Colonel Serhiy Lupanchuk as the new commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This is an experienced officer - a combat officer, a right leader who can add more strength to our special operations forces. We await new results. General Viktor Khorenyko, who commanded the special operations forces, will continue to carry out special tasks within the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine's Defense Ministry.

I held a preparatory meeting regarding the next week - political work and our steps with the European Union. Every day we use to add substance to the preparation for starting negotiations on our country's accession to the EU. We clearly understand the timeframes and political steps. And today I signed an important law concerning national communities. We have implemented another criterion for our Eurointegration. Additional guarantees for national communities in Ukraine, additional guarantees for our movement towards the European Union. We continue working further on implementing recommendations from the European Commission.

And one more thing.

Every time I meet with our soldiers - those who are at the front line, those preparing to return to the front line, and those deserving state awards... Every time I meet them, I see not just readiness to defend Ukraine but a willingness to win for Ukraine. To win this war. It is our job. This is our need. I well remember who was prepared on February 24th and in the first days of the full-scale war. I remember what was said and by whom. Who believed and who erred, not believing in Ukraine. It's important to be confident in Ukraine now - just as it was then. Russia wanted Kyiv but was forced to retreat. Wanted Kharkiv and said it was a Russian city, but our Kharkiv is free and will always remain so. The same goes for Kherson. And Odessa too. We won't leave our people on occupied territory - I want them to hear this now. It concerns millions of lives. All partners know what's needed. For the front line, for our skies, for our cities - and for our movement.
