The list of 20 players from Ukraine's women's youth national team has been announced for the preparation period ahead of matches in the first qualifying round of Euro-2024 (WU-19).

As a reminder, based on the draw results, Ukrainians have landed in Group V4 where they will face teams from North Macedonia, Luxembourg, and Armenia.

The tournament in our quartet will take place in Armenia, in Yerevan and Armavir (the «Academy FFV» and «Armavir» stadiums respectively). On October 22, the Ukrainian delegation will depart for Yerevan where they will begin their battles for qualification to League A. The day before departure, teams are scheduled to have a short training camp in Lviv (October 19-22).

It is worth noting that the new European selection of Ukraine's women's youth national team will start under the guidance of a new coach. On August 31, Valeriy Palamaruk's contract expired. Thus, the new season will begin with Nataliya Ignotovich fulfilling the duties of head coach, reports the All-Ukrainian Association of Women's Football.

Teams finishing fourth in their groups in League A will continue the season in the second round of League B. The seeding for participants before the second round will depend on which places teams take in their groups during the first round. Based on the results of the second round of League A, seven teams will be determined to join Lithuania in the final stage of Euro-2024.

In League B, 23 teams compete for promotion to League A across six groups. Group winners and runners-up with the best record against first and third-placed teams in their groups will advance to a higher division. Lithuania also participates despite having an automatic qualification to the final stage as hosts.
